In Collaboration with Salida Forums, there will be a short introduction about the League of Women Voters, its purpose and activities. Then County Clerk, Lori Mitchell, will give people a clear and encouraging look at what is actually happening here in Chaffee County. She will discuss how important it is to go to trusted and official sources for election information, ask questions when something doesn’t seem right, and be thoughtful about what we see and share on social media.

The goal is to leave feeling informed, reassured, and proud of how elections are run in their community, across Colorado, and all across the country, and excited to cast their vote. All are welcome!
