Tuesday, March 5, 5-7 PM is the LWV Chaffee County candidate forum for BV Town Trustees. There are 4 openings, and all 6 candidates will be in attendance: Thomas Brown, Margaret (Maggie) Huyck, Andy Matkovich, Michal Rosenoer, Andrew Rice, and Devin Rowe. Rice and Rowe are currently trustees whose terms are expiring and they are running for re-election. Three of the seats are four-year terms that will expire in 2028. The fourth will expire in 2026. The three candidates who receive the highest votes will hold the four-year Trustee positions. The candidate receiving the next highest vote total will fill the term expiring in 2026. The forum will be at CUCC, 217 Crossman, Buena Vista. Setup will be Monday, March 4th, from 2-4 at CUCC. We need 4-5 folks to help set up tables, chairs, and equipment.
